DOT Ready Now ("we," "us," "our") is a product of American Trans-Data Corp. ("ATD"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

What we collect
Account information
- Name, email address, phone number, company name
- Billing details (handled by Stripe; we don't store full card numbers)
Fleet data you enter
- USDOT number, MC number, company address, operating profile
- Vehicle details (VIN, plate, registration data, inspection history)
- Driver details (name, CDL number, medical card data, qualification records)
- Compliance documents you upload
Usage data
- Pages visited, features used, time on site (basic analytics)
- Device and browser information
- IP address (used for security and rate limiting)
How we use it
- To provide the dotreadynow service — tracking your compliance, sending reminders, generating reports
- To bill you and process payments
- To respond to support requests
- To improve the product
- To send service-related emails (reminders, billing, security)
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for cross-customer analytics or aggregated insights products.
Who we share it with
Service providers
We work with a small set of vendors who help us run the service:
- AWS — hosting and data storage (US regions)
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
Each is bound by data-processing terms that prohibit using your data for their own purposes.
Inside ATD
ATD support staff can access your data when you request help, or when we're investigating a security or service issue. Access is logged.
Legal requests
We may disclose data if required by law (subpoena, court order). We'll notify you first unless the request prohibits notification.
How we protect it
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+)
- Encryption at rest (AES-256)
- Daily encrypted backups with 30-day retention
- Access controls + audit logging

Your choices
Export
You can export all your fleet data from your account settings at any time — JSON or CSV.
Deletion
Cancel your account from settings; data remains exportable for 30 days, then is permanently deleted from our active systems (backup deletion follows within 90 days). Email us if you need immediate deletion.
Service emails vs marketing emails
Compliance reminders, billing, and security emails are part of the service — you can't opt out while your account is active. We send minimal marketing emails (new features, important regulatory changes); you can unsubscribe from those anytime.
Cookies
We use cookies for: session/login, security (CSRF protection), and basic analytics. No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers.
Children
dotreadynow is not directed at people under 18. If we learn we've collected data from someone under 18, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We'll email you at least 30 days before any material change. Minor updates (clarifications, typos) are noted with an updated effective date.
